About me
I hold a professional diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling (Prof. Dip. Psy. C.) and a. bachelors degree in English Studies and Creative Writing (BA hons.). I am studying for a Masters Degree in Psychology (Msc. Psych.).
I have had a lifelong interest in language and self discovery and am fascinated when words and meaning differ. This fascination led me to an academic level through my undergraduate degree in English Studies and I then used it to guide me through my professional diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling.
My diverse life experiences have given me a deep understanding of adversity and I use this background to inform my therapeutic practice.
I am LGBTQ+ friendly and practice in a neuroaffirming way.
I keep up to date with ongoing professional developments in the therapeutic world and attend regular courses to maintain my depth of knowledge.

My approach means I do not have a pre-conceived idea of what will work best for you, instead I work with you to discover which therapeutic style is most appropriate for you. You, the client, are in control of your journey and I am the facilitator.
I offer you an opportunity to explore, discuss and uncover the things that have been causing you pain. I work with you to build an alliance in which you can feel safe and supported to address your deepest fears and problems without fear of judgement or reprisal.
